  •  Thanks for the greets Tannim. Got a lot going on but hope to make it soon. Some of yens stuff sounds interesting. Cept the part where you accept all religions. I am right and all others are wrong and I expect everyone to do what I say. [grin]. Aight, actually the acceptance stuff is my favo part of you folks. (I might have been jokin' a tad bit in that last statement...) Holler!

  •  Training is always a plus. Chris and I have been working together with weapons for several years, and def took alot of work to get it safe, practical, and honest. We use bokken and padded weapons however-- the bokken are of course the most realistic but pretty dangerous if not wary-- as live steel would be even more so. The padded ones are preferable, as long as one doesnt cheat with speed, since theyre alot lighter. Ive learned that anything can embody a weapon but it's honesty that is hard

  •  'Ello Tannim, I shall letchya know. Looks great thus far. As far as the flute, I have 5 flutes total. One of which is a drone flute I recived as a present, two were gifted to me by my good friend who makes them. He made them for the SLC winter Olympics. The two he first gifted me I took to war with me. The one in my picture and by far my favorite, he taught me how to make when I returned. So long and short of it is, yes and no.. :-) I'd make them myself, but no equipment.

  •  I believe i have heard of it from a few of my friends from ARMA and HACA-- i haven't been able to check it out as of yet. Lately, my roommate and i have been doing weapons work-- ranging from sword, staff, double stick, kama, and knife. We took up Wing Chun to get a body weapon concept down but are new at it-- have been incorporating Japanese, hindu, Buddhist and Native Indian practices to glue it all together. I also perform meditation music and modern. Let me kno if youd like sum links OM

  •  Haloh there and thanks much for the greeting. Ive been practicing swordsmanship for about 7 years with serious dedication. It's more to me about the comraderie and mutual self respect and knowledge persuit though than sport. Ive had pointers throughout the journey but no actual teachers. My roomate and I are pretty consistent, within our capacity. Will do our best to make it out. Just have to get an idea of where. We're on the west side. Cheers, and blessings...
