RE: [cobol-1] Who wants a Cobol Meetin'?

Hi folks,

Regarding your message Joe, about a Cobol group - I worked on mainframes before (Cobol, PL/I, etc.) and would consider getting back into that, but it’s currently not my first choice, unless it was involved with something else as well.  It might be interesting, to me, to attend a meeting or two of a Cobol group, but unless I ended up back working in it, it probably wouldn’t be a long-term thing for me, personally.

Subject: [cobol-1] Who wants a Cobol Meetin'?

Howdy Peeps!

Just givin' a holler out to find out who wants to have a get together to meet and talk about Cobol? Some of us are from the programmin' end and others from the support or marketting end, but I think it'd be cool if we all got together and hung out over a beer (ok for me a root beer, unless it's Guinness...).

So what think yens? just holler back in the email and I look forward to hangin' out with some folks

Kind Regards,
Joseph The James Frantz :D
